Police say a man is expected to recover after he was shot in a home's backyard.
It happened at 43rd & Grant just after 12:15 a.m.
The victim was transported to Nebraska Medical Center in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
No suspect vehicles were seen. Police don't know if the crime is connected to the shooting on 42nd & Paxton.
