A man who was shot by police in late November has been arrested after being released from the hospital.
The man, 28-year-old Oliver Halverson was charged Wednesday with Attempted Felony Assault on an Officer and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
Police say Halverson threatened an officer with a knife, and wouldn't drop the weapon, even after being tased. Halverson was shot by police as he continued to move toward an officer, according to investigators.
He spent nearly a month in the hospital recovering.
Over Christmas, he'll be in Douglas County Jail. His case has not yet been processed through the court's online database.
