A Fremont man faces 12-24 months behind bars. Monday, prosecutors said Riley Morton has been sentenced for his 3rd Driving While Intoxicated offense.
Morton was picked up by a deputy with the Saunders County Sheriff’s Department after his car went off road.
While walking up to the damaged car, the deputy testified he could smell alcohol coming from the driver.
Morton and an unnamed passenger were transported to the hospital where a blood draw was administered, proving what the deputy suspected.
