A 60-year-old man remained hospitalized nearly a day after being rescued from an eastern Nebraska lake. James Lee is at Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office says James Lee had gone into the water at Branched Oak Lake on Sunday to retrieve his personal watercraft, which had floated away. Boaters later found him face down in the water.
The boaters pulled him out of the water and called 911 around 12:30 p.m. Bystanders performed CPR on Lee until medics arrived. Lee was flown to the hospital.
The lake sits a few miles northwest of Lincoln.
