A 37-year-old Beatrice man faces sentencing in October after being convicted of several felonies.
Gary Kuhn made a plea deal with Gage County prosecutors, who dropped or reduced several charges in two cases. Court records say Kuhn pleaded no contest to four charges and guilty to another on Wednesday. His sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 9.
Records say Kuhn was arrested on Feb. 13 after biting and choking a woman. Children ages 3 and 4 were present but covered their eyes.
The records say Kuhn bonded out of jail and was arrested April 8 after a car crash that ended a police chase. Police say the car had been stolen and that officers suspected Kuhn had been driving while under the influence of drugs.
