A 52-year-old man was arrested Sunday night after allegedly throwing a hot pan of grease on his wife, during an argument.
Sarpy County investigators said William and Pam Wardlow got into an argument, while deep frying shrimp, at their home in the area of 168th and Cornhusker. William told investigators that he accidentally fell and that caused the grease to splash on Pam, but investigators aren't buying that. Wardlow was arrested for first degree felony assault and domestic violence.
Pam Wardlow was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with third degree burns on her face, arms, and shoulder. Her current condition is not being released.
Wardlow is expected in court Tuesday morning for a bond hearing.
