An armed man may have had second thoughts about robbing a Lincoln convenience store Wednesday morning.
Police say 19-year-old Dimitri Marsh entered the Kwik Shop at North 27th and W streets just before 2:30 a.m., pointed a shotgun at the clerk and demanded money. When the clerk took the cash out of the drawer, Marsh didn't take the money and instead walked out.
He was caught a few blocks away at 28th and Orchard after a brief chase. Officers recovered the gun.
Marsh faces charges of attempted robbery and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
