A 25-year-old Wahoo man is being charged with multiple criminal counts after a domestic violence incident. The Saunders County Attorney says Nicholas Worley attempted to strangle his girlfriend.
On June 14, a Wahoo officer was dispatched to a location for a possible domestic disturbance. The officer reports that Worley was arguing with his girlfriend and started to push and kick her. The officer noticed several red marks on the woman’s neck. Worley is also accused of grabbing her phone from her and causing it to break.
Worley is charged with third degree domestic assault, strangulation, and criminal mischief. If convicted on all counts, they collectively carry a maximum of 10 years and three months in prison.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in court for the felony charges 9 a.m. August 14.
