Main Street Christmas Celebration

Victorian Christmas on Main returns to downtown Plattsmouth Friday evening. Events run from 5pm to 8:30pm at various locations.

The schedule according to the Cassgram. There will be hayrack rides, pony rides, horse drawn carriage rides, a reindeer petting zoo, Father Christmas at the Cass County Bank Downtown Branch, the Yuletide Coffee House at Chocolate Moose and more music and food. Check the schedule for times.

Caroling will start at 6:15pm at the Cass County Museum. The Tree Lighting will be at 6:30pm at the museum. Hot apple cider, hot chocolate and cookies will be served inside the museum afterward. The log cabin and caboose at the end of Main Street will also be decorated and open until 8pm. The event is free and open to the public.

The Plattsmouth Public Library will be partnering with Rohan Photography to make holiday cards for the elderly in the community. Library staff will be in the photography studio 6-8pm to help children make cards with fun craft tools including rubber stamps, stickers, and shapes. All cards created by the children will be distributed to residents of the Masonic Home, Cassco Arms, Golden Living Center, and Woodbridge to wish them a happy holiday season.

Many businesses will be open with shopping deals and refreshments during Christmas-On-Main.
