The new African lion cubs at the Henry Doorly Zoo got a chance to get outside for the first time ever Thursday afternoon.
Leela, Kya, Zuri, Taj, and Josiri were all born Dec. 29th, which makes them four months old on Monday.
The cubs spent their time playing and exploring their new surroundings as well as getting friendly nudges from their mother and aunt.
"It's going to be a lot of fun over the ensuing weeks watching the cubs explore the whole exhibit," said Zoo Director Dennis Pate. "Climb up and down off of shelves. Play predator with one another. It's just a much bigger playground for them."
