Lincoln's Haymarket is getting a new addition. The city announced Thursday it is taking bids to build a pedestrian bridge.
The span will link the new Pinnacle Bank Arena with a new festival space. The design spells "Lincoln" from both sides of the bridge and from above.
Construction will begin in the spring and be completed by next summer.
