Lincoln Residents Struck With Blow Darts

Police are looking for assault suspects after two people were struck with 4-inch blow darts in Lincoln.

LPD Captain Michon Morrow says the first assault happened near 27th and Sheridan Monday evening. She says a jogger had stopped for traffic when he felt a pain in his leg. The jogger discovered had been struck by a blow dart, but did not need medical attention.

Morrow says just a few hours later, around 11 p.m., a woman was shot with a dart in the thigh near 14th and O Streets. Morrow says witnesses reported seeing three male teens in a 90's model car. Witnesses reported hearing one of the teens say, "I got her."
