Lincoln police say they've reunited a toddler with her mother, after the child was found wandering alone early Monday morning.
Police say just before 3 a.m. Monday, a young girl,between the ages of two or three, was found in the area of 17th and Washington. Officer Katie Flood said police received a call from the girl's mother reporting her toddler missing at 7:15 a.m.
Officer Flood said it's not uncommon for kids in that age range to get curious in the night and wonder off. Police have not said whether the woman will face charges in the incident.
