Patrick Bauldwin learns his fate after being found guilty in the death of his ex-girlfriend.
Bauldwin was found guilty of second degree murder in the death of Pasionetta Prince back in September.
Prince was found strangled to death in her home near 41st and Lake in February of 2006.
The defendant was living with her at the time, even though both sides agree there were problems in the couple's relationship.
The sentence was handed down by Judge Patrick Mullen.
