It's that time of year when many spend time raking and collecting leaves. Then it was off to the La Vista Public Works site at 96th and Portal on Saturday where residents got rid of bags filled with leaves.
One woman has been busy with yard work. "Actually my husband has been on vacation all week and then we did nothing but yard work and then he's working today, so my mission was just to dump them off,” said Nancy Roshrone.
The fall leaf collection service is an annual event.
