For only the fourth time in 25 years, a player participating in the La Vista Keno game won the progressive jackpot, worth $200,000.
The winner, from Papillion, does not wish to be identified.
La Vista Keno, operated by Rich Bellino and sponsored by the City of La Vista, is one of the last keno games in the area with a progressive jackpot.
“It’s always exciting when one of our players hits a big payout,” Bellino said. “And we congratulate this individual on a big night.”
La Vista Mayor Douglas Kindig echoed Bellino’s sentiment. “The City of La Vista has benefitted greatly from the proceeds of its keno game. We have used keno funds to construct public buildings and administer community betterment programs and events such as La Vista Daze.”
