Korean War Veterans Prepare For Honor Flight

It was a big night for more than 400 Korean War veterans as they prepare to take an Honor Flight Tuesday morning.

They all gathered for a special dinner at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Omaha. Then first thing in the morning they will get on the planes at Eppley Airfield and head to the nation's capital.

Captain Rick Wimer said, "They were so excited that they wanted to go. Their bags are packed, their shirts are on and they just want to get here and get it done with."

You have a chance to show your support. There is a special homecoming planned at Eppley Airfield Tuesday night at 10 p.m. Anyone can come out and cheer them on.
