A teen accused of kidnapping is scheduled to enter a plea in a Council Bluffs courtroom Monday afternoon.
Police say 19-year-old Nathan Busse grabbed a 10-year-old girl who was walking off from Edison Elementary School on January 28th and forced her to walk with him in the area of South 23rd Street and 3rd Avenue.
The girl broke free after a brief struggle and ran to a family member who was waiting to pick her up. Her father found Busse a short distance away and detained him until police arrived.
Busse was charged with kidnapping, assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, enticing a minor and child stealing.
