The principal of Iowa's Urbandale Middle School has arranged for an apology from the student who taped a Ku Klux Klan application to the locker of a black student.
Fourteen-year-old Dante Johnson-Taylor found the form on his locker and told his mother, Tara Patterson, who spoke to principal Daniel Meyer about it. Patterson said her son was hurt by the incident. "It's not a joke."
Patterson said Dante told her the student who taped the form is someone he thought was a friend. School officials wouldn't say if the student responsible was disciplined.
