Accused serial killer Nikko Jenkins filed paperwork Friday in Douglas County District Court to change his plea to guilty on all felony counts. A hearing on the motion will likely be held next Wednesday.
The 27-year-old Jenkins, who is serving as his own attorney, allegedly murdered Juan Uribe-Pena, Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz, Curtis Bradford and Andrea Kruger in Omaha last August.
He had plead not guilty, claiming he didn't receive proper mental health treatment while previously in prison. In February, Judge Peter Bataillon ruled that Jenkins was mentally competent to stand trial on the four counts of murder.
Earlier this week, Jenkins tried to plead no contest to the charges, but Judge Bataillon said he wouldn't accept the pleas because of the severity of the cases.
A trial date had been set for July 28th.
