Jazz on the Green returns this evening to the Midtown Crossing.
It is the second year the concert series has called the new midtown neighborhood home and all indications are that it is a good match.
Thursday afternoon crews were setting up the stage and hammering in posts for signs and booths.
The outdoor concerts will run for six consecutive Thursdays and are free to everyone.
Bob bow says Midtown Crossing is a perfect venue for the concert series because it fits into the area.
Bob Boe says, "I think it's great I think they've done a fantastic job down here it is just a vibrant area down here now with all of the restaurants and activities going on down here all the time. They always have something going on down here."
The first concert is this evening and features a local band with a Frank Sinatra sound; Mike Gurciullo and his Las Vegas Lab Band.
