Nebraska and Wisconsin fans may be on different sides of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Saturday night for the Big Ten Championship Game, but they mingled Friday night at the Big Ten Fan Fest.
It was a chance for fans mix fun with football and get a taste of that championship flavor, including having your picture taken with the Big Ten Championship Trophy.
Daniel Gottsch and his family traveled from Edmond, Oklahoma to cheer on the Huskers. "We wanted to support Nebraska and all of festivities that are happening. We are glad we came.” What does he think of the Fan Fest? “It’s been incredible. The boys have really enjoyed it. We liked it a lot as well."
The Fan Fest offers plenty of activities. You can check out your passing skills or kick a field goal. There is even an obstacle course for those future Huskers on the gridiron, but the real focus of all Big Red fans is to win the championship. "I just think from the first time they played that it would be a good rematch. I think we will win big."
“Oh, I knew we are going to win this. It’s going to be an awesome game so I predict Nebraska will have a big win against Wisconsin."
