Iowa Police Officer Charged With Trespassing

Officer Robyn Obadal was arrested on suspicion of burglary. The 36-year-old Obadal was accused of illegally entering a house and taking the dogs on July 23.

Trespassing is a misdemeanor that carries a maximum sentence of 30 days in jail.

Obadal denies the allegations. she says she picked up the dogs in her patrol car when she found them running free. She says she turned them over to a man who said he knew the dogs' owner.

Obadal has been placed on unpaid administrative leave, pending
resolution of the case.
