An Iowa man already convicted of wire fraud, money laundering and other charges in an investment scheme has been charged with illegally distributing a prescription painkiller.

Prosecutors say Donald Washburn is charged with one count of distributing oxycodone while in federal custody. He's been held since his conviction on Feb. 22. His sentencing date has not been set.

Washburn remains in custody.
