A Red Oak, Iowa man has been arrested following a go-cart crash that seriously injured his 2-year-old son.
Police say 35-year-old Michael Soar was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of felony child endangerment and serious injury by vehicle.
Authorities say Soar and his son were riding a go-cart the night of September 5th, when it hit a parked car. The toddler was flown by helicopter to a trauma center in Omaha.
Shawn Soar suffered minor injuries and was treated at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. He is being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $10,000 bond.
