Iowa DOT to Hold Another Emergency Bid Letting

The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) will be holding another emergency bid letting related to the Missouri River flooding on Friday, July 8 at 11 a.m.

As a flood mitigation effort, the Iowa DOT is proposing to raise the grade of southbound Interstate 29 about one foot using hot-mix asphalt from milepost 103 to 104 in Monona County, south of the Blencoe interchange. The length of the project is approximately 4,200 feet.

A notice to contractors was provided Wednesday, July 6 and any interested contractors asked to order project plans from Bid Express.
