A 115-year-old Johnston, Iowa woman has become the world's oldest living person.
Guinness World Records posted on its website Wednesday that Dina Manfredini has inherited the title after 116-year-old Bessie Cooper of Georgia died on Tuesday.
Manfredini was born April 4, 1897 in Italy and moved to the United States in 1920. She currently lives at the Bishop Drumm Retirement Center in Johnston, just north of Des Moines.
