An Iowa City landlord accused of peeping at residents is expected to stand trial on Tuesday.
The Iowa City Press-Citizen reports that Elywn G. Miller faces 11 counts of invasion of privacy. Police arrested the 64-year-old last year for allegedly peeping into a female tenant's apartment through a hole in the ceiling above her shower.
The incident prompted an investigation of other apartment buildings that Miller manages, which police say uncovered more evidence of peeping.
Assistant Johnson County Attorney Anne Lahey says she expects the case to go to trial. The trial is scheduled to last two or three weeks.
Three former tenants have filed a lawsuit against Miller, alleging that he spied on them through bathroom peepholes. A trial on the civil case is scheduled for October 2014.
