Treynor State Bank was behind the "Take Back Your Bank" giveaway to the first 200 customers between 9 and 11 a.m. in an effort to call attention to local banking.
“We're out here letting folks know about a better way of banking and telling them about our awesome accounts they can open at Treynor State Bank,” said the bank’s Kelsey Stupfell. “This is all about a national initiative we're doing about taking back our banking and we’re doing it with 40 other community banks across the country.”
Treynor State Bank gave away a total of $4,000 worth of gas.
