Horses Get Loose On Highway

Vandals cut fences at an animal rescue in southwest Iowa. Seven horses got out and were found near a busy highway.

The Hooves and Paws rescue east of Glenwood reports all the horses have been rounded up and none are hurt.

Neighbors and drivers passing by helped keep the horses from getting hit on highway 34. The operators of the rescue were at work this morning when the vandalism occurred.

They are hoping someone will come forward to identify the vandals.
