A little rain and cool temperatures didn’t hurt the turnout at the 2nd Annual Hope 365 Riverfront Run his morning.
The Catholic Charities’ run and walk raises money for three food pantries in the area.
About 160 runners signed up for the event and almost all of those started on the ConAgra Campus and ran to the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge and back.
For some the event combines helping others through a healthy lifestyle.
John Meyer says, “I just like to stay active, I enjoy being outside and doing things. Living in Montana there is a lot of good stuff to do outside so I just try to get outside and do stuff.”
Approximately $20,000 was raised for the Catholic Charities Food Pantries
