Another cold night means our homeless shelters are filling fast.
We were there as workers with the Siena Francis House found a man in a snowbank, put him in a wheelchair and brought him to the warmth of the shelter.
The place at 16th & Nicholas has been so packed this December -- the dining room floor will be covered in cots later in the evening.
"We have 340 beds total -- last night we had 460 people here. We're always grossly overcrowded," said Tim Sully with Siena Francis House.
On Wednesday night, the numbers were down for two reasons -- during Christmas some of the working poor stay with family. And secondly -- the storm was so bad, some homeless people couldn't make it back to the shelter and stayed in the elements.
