Home Invasion Suspect Surrenders

Three of the four suspects wanted in connection with a Bellevue home invasion are now in custody. April Valdez surrendered to police on Tuesday.

Authorities are still looking for Derick Kimble Jr.

Marty Nelson and Scott Nelson were taken into custody earlier.

The home invasion happened last Saturday afternoon in the 2500 block of Kibbon Drive.

Bellevue Police say two people were held at gunpoint by a man armed with a handgun while the accomplices stole several items from the house and left.

Marty A. Nelson is being charged with Robbery and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony. He is currently in custody at the Sarpy County Jail. Charges against Scott Nelson are pending in Sarpy County for the Armed Robbery and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.

Authorities are looking for help in locating the last suspect on the loose. Kimble is 32-years-old, 5’ 11” tall and weighs 220. He is believed to carry a firearm. Omaha was his last known residence.
