No one was hurt in a house fire in Omaha Saturday night.
Neighbors discovered smoke coming from the home near 49th and Chicago just before 7 p.m. No one was home at the time. Chris Sieff called 911 and immediately knew what to do when he saw the smoke.
"The first thing you've got to do is you've got to go pound those doors. You don't knock, you pound. You pound on the doors and make sure everyone is out of the house or if they're in the house at all."
Firefighters extinguished flames on the first and second floors. The homeowner's father told Channel 6 News the homeowner is currently on vacation in Colorado.
