The National Weather Service continues the heat advisory through Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures once again on Tuesday will rise to the upper 90s however high humidity will make it feel like 105 to 110 degrees.

The Cassgram offers this list starting with Weeping Water’s “Coming Home for the Holidays” is Saturday (12/1) – Santa Claus will be at Gibson Hall from 10am to 2pm. There’s a craft show from 9am to 2pm with make-and-take crafts from 10am to noon. There will also be open houses at many businesses in Weeping Water and the United Methodist Church has breakfast, lunch and a cookie/candy sale.
"Ringing in the Season" in Louisville is Sunday (12/2) -- Events: Santa Claus, a bake sale and face painting at the library from noon to 2pm; Soup luncheon at the fire station 11am to 2pm; the 2nd annual Last Stop Christmas Shop, 10am to 3pm at the American Legion Hall; a Chili Cook-Off 4pm to 6pm at the American Legion Hall; the Red Nose Run/Walk is at 2pm (registration noon to 1:30pm) at Good Times Bar.
