A startling case of road rage involves hit & run. The driver of an expensive pickup cuts into the path of a woman turning into her own driveway. The pickup driver stops for a moment but not to exchange information.
Mary Palu told Fact Finders the pickup driver who slammed into her car yelled at her. "Some pretty choice words I can't say on TV. he was very angry and then hopped in his vehicle and took off." Mary called 911.
A neighbor got a photo of the back bumper showing a transporter plate. That belongs to Richard Kelly Detailing service. Kelly told Fact Finders, "Plate 1049, that's mine but there's nobody here who has a clue the plate was even missing." Kelly said the transporter plate may have been stolen off another car on his lot. Kelly said the hit and run vehicle didn't match any he worked on. Kelly said, "That was a late model Chevy Avalanche and I don't recognize the vehicle."
Mary Palu only suffered a bump in the head and she's thankful nobody was hurt because there are many kids in her neighborhood that time of the afternoon.
