Metropolitan Community College is reaching out to high school students who are not on track to graduate on time or have stopped attending.
MCC’s Gateway to College program gives current or past high school students ages 16–20 the chance to earn their high school diploma while simultaneously earning college credits.
Program advisors provide intensive services to help students achieve their goals.
"MCC’s program, Nebraska’s only Gateway to College site, helps fill a need in the Omaha community by helping reengage youth who need to complete high school and start college,” said Randy Schmailzl, MCC president.
The next Gateway to College classes begin on Sept. 4, the start of MCC’s Fall quarter.
If you are interested in participating in or learning more about the Gateway to College program, attend one of the upcoming information sessions on June 26 or July 10, 17 or 31.
