Two county health department is recognizing 2013 National Public Health Week this week by promoting this year’s theme, “Public Health is Return on Investment: Save Lives, Save Money.”
Today’s focus is on “Ensuring a Safe, Healthy Home for Your Family”. The Health Department will be hosting an open house from 1 to 3pm at the Department’s office at 701 Olson Drive, Suite 101, Papillion.
The public is invited to stop in to learn how public health makes a difference in people's lives. Health Department staff will offer free blood pressure screenings, short‐term radon testing kits (to residents of Sarpy and Cass counties while supplies last), resources, education, and other giveaways.
