A driver who witnesses say was driving erratically hit another vehicle near 192nd and L street on Monday afternoon, injuring both himself and two people in the other vehicle.
The Douglas County Sheriff's department reports that witnesses said that the driver of a black SUV was headed south on 192nd, driving in the middle turning lane. At the L street intersection, another vehicle was north bound in the turn lane and the two vehicles collided head on. It happened around 3 p.m.
Douglas County Sheriff Marty Bilek says the driver of the black SUV is identified as 39-year-old Christopher Sima. He remains in critical condition.
Driver in other vehicle was 18-year-old Peter Oster. He had a passenger, 16-year-old Zoe Hatfield. Both are expected to be okay.
