Iowa State University police are investigating the theft of personal items from Iowa football players and coaches in the visiting locker room that was broken into during the Cyclones-Hawkeyes game Saturday night at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.
University police said Sunday that personal items were missing when Iowa players and staff returned to the locker room after the Hawkeyes' 27-21 victory before a sellout crowd of 56,800. Police did not detail what items were taken, saying a report would not be available until at least Monday.
