The injuries were minor but authorities want to know who drove away from the scene of a two-vehicle accident Friday evening about 9:15pm.
The Cassgram reportsCass County sheriff's deputies and Murray Fire and Rescue responded to a hit and run accident that occurred at the intersection of Highway 75 and Rock Bluff Road. A 34-year-old man was traveling south on 75 when a dark colored sedan, traveling west on Rock Bluff Road, went through the intersection and sideswiped his vehicle, causing him to go off the road into the ditch on the west side of Highway 75.
Witnesses stated the vehicle had approximately four to five occupants and eventually went westbound on Waverly Road.
From debris left at the scene, deputies were able to get a possible description of the suspect vehicle: a 2008 dark metallic blue Hyundai sedan.
The hit-and-run victim sustained only minor injuries and was able to drive his vehicle away.
