Police say gunfire hit King Science and Technology Magnet School in Omaha while students were off for the holiday break.
Police discovered six rounds were fired and two landed inside the school near Manderson Street and Florence Boulevard.
Investigators aren't sure where the shots came from, but believe they might be related to New Year's Eve celebrations when people fire rounds into the air.
