A 3-year-old Iowa girl has died nearly three months after she pulled a large television down upon herself.
Family friend Lena McElvogue told The Des Moines Register that Aleena Coe died Thursday at a hospice in Johnston.
She was injured Aug. 9 when the television fell onto her as she was watching a program with her sister in their Des Moines home.
Aleena's heart stopped, and although medics managed to get her heart started again she was without oxygen for 45 minutes.
She spent nearly a month at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
