The General Crook House Museum is celebrating the holidays in true Victorian elegance with staff, family, friends and volunteers joining together to transform the General Crook House into a holiday treasure.
As visitors are greeted by Mary Crook, wife of General George Crook, for whom the house was built in 1879.
The house is an Italianate style, with furnishings from the 1880 Victorian period.
Guests are also treated with complimentary home-made hot apple cider and delicious cookies.
Decorations are on display through the first week of January.
The Museum is closed on Christmas Day and on New Year’s day, but is otherwise open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
