Conestoga school district announces a $2,000 grant . The grant is from the Whole Kids Foundation to be used for classroom gardens in the outdoor classroom, Cougar Hollow.
The Cassgram reports the PTO hopes to install six raised gardens, allowing each grade to care for their own garden. The gardens have been planned according to the school calendar so that the harvest can be utilized in the cafeteria and supplement the backpack program.
