Game and Parks to Train Hunting Instructors

Apprentice volunteer bow hunter instructors will be trained at Ak-Sar-Ben Aquarium, near Gretna, on Tuesday. Another bow hunter training will take place Thursday at the Game and Parks service center in Kearney.

Apprentice volunteer firearm instructors will be trained at the Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge, near Valentine, on Aug. 10.

The registration deadline is the day before the workshop. To register, go online to huntsafenebraska.org and click on the link Register for Outdoor Skills Events and Workshops, or contact Mike Streeter at 402-471-6134 or mike.streeter(at)nebraska.gov.
