Andrew Brown was arrested by Omaha Police after a vehicle pursuit and foot chase Thursday.
The pursuit began just after 2 p.m. Omaha police followed a car with two people inside. Officers followed the vehicle from the area of 9th Storz Expressway. This continued down Highway 75 with speeds reaching 75 mph. The pursuit worked its way through South Omaha.
Officers blocked off the road, trapping the suspect at 17th & B. He fled the car and was found hiding under a deck. A woman who was with him was also arrested. Officers believe they found some stolen items in the car.
As Channel 6 News reported Wednesday night, Council Bluffs police identified Andrew Brown as the man who swerved toward a police officer on the northeastern edge of the city June 25. The officer was hit in the hip and thrown into a utility pole.
