For those considering getting a tattoo, Bellevue was the place to be Thursday.
Tattoo artist Leon Alderette is co–owner of Quality Ink Tattoo and he came up with the idea to offer free tattoos to anyone who waited in line to get one.
Some were there for the first time, even bringing mom along.
The idea was Leon's...he wanted to do it for 24 hours of tattooing but his wife Valerie, the other half of the ownership, reeled him back in.
"He wanted to do just free," she said. "But I stepped in and put a limit on it. So we are doing three by three inch tattoos.. A hundred dollars worth of tattoos to anybody who's willing to wait in line and bring a design."
The event runs through 9 o'clock tonight.
Quality Ink Tattoo is located just south of Hwy 370 off Fort Crook Road.
