A former Omaha anchorman and former Congressional candidate is on trial for misdemeanor domestic assault.
Michael Scott is accused of striking his girlfriend last fall after an argument during a movie.
Scott's attorney, James Martin Davis, questioned the alleged victim in court on Tuesday, March 5th.
While on the stand the woman told the jury Scott told her, "You've embarrassed me and you should die." while his left hand was on her throat.
Davis accused the woman of using "colorful" language to influence the jury.
Prosecutors objected several times during Davis' cross examination. Judge Joseph Caniglia sustained most of those objections.
