Kids in Papillion will get a chance to fish with the firefighters Saturday Oct. 13th.
The free event is called "Hooks and Ladders" and will give kids the chance to fish and hang out with the firefighters. Several fire trucks and ambulances will be on hand for the children to look at and ask questions about.
Fishing instructors, poles, and bait will be provided at no cost by Go Fishing Omaha.
The event will take place from Noon to 3 p.m. at the pond in Halleck Park.
